Long time no update lol!

  Things have been good with Lizzy...she’s growing big and getting strong. She loves to woof back the superworms like there going out of style and her tail is fat fat fat. The tank now has sand on half the floor and a little bigger enclosure was in order but for the most part things are as usual.
  Some new pictures are on the way as soon as my son gets his butt in gear lol it’s always been his pet and he lives else where with his mom these days so it takes a little longer to get the materials like pictures, video’s etc.
  Thanx to all my visitors both here and to the website and great news!!!...Lizzy’s site is going .com within the next month!!! YAY!
  The site is getting a total revamping then a new home on a proper server complete with a .com URL!
  Details to follow but it’s safe to say yous will be hearing from me a bit more often from now on lol!

Slow week in a geckos life!

Lizzy the leopard gecko has had a slow week this week. Literally, she has been lying around sucking up the heat and sleeping. Not unusual for a reptile though. She has been getting lonely and we're thinking of getting her a companion. Leopard geckos are very territorial though, so I wonder if she'll take to a mate. Worth a try I guess! I've been changing up her food a bit lately, so I hope she'll perk up soon. She is a lot more fun when she's stocking around after her prey. I love to watch her eat.

Hey everybody, Today I'll talk about a leopard geckos shedding requirements. Your gecko will need to have a separate hiding spot with a moist medium provided inside the container (Plastic works best). Your leopard gecko will need the moist medium (peat moss, paper towel, clean cloth) to shed properly. If your gecko does not get to shed properly, it will develop skin build-up around the toes and will eventually loose them. This extra hide box should be present at all times and medium should be changed regularly! Your gecko will thank you in the end for all your hard work.
